Carol

Carol Harris joined the practice in March 2007. She has worked in several veterinary practices since leaving school gaining valuable experience in the nursing side of the business. Her career went in a different direction for a few years after the birth of her son Matthew in 1991.

Now she is back in the field of work that she loves and is enjoying the challenge of working in our busy practice. Her professionalism and sense of humour definitely strengthen our caring and dedicated team. Carol and her partner Howard love all animals and have and a gorgeous but daft as a brush chocolate Labrador called Bruno who enjoys long walks in the countryside and Barry an ex-stray who came into the practice in a very bad condition. This suits Carol down to the ground as she is a country girl born and bred!

Avril

Avril Coleman joined the practice as a part-time receptionist in July 2010. Avril has a degree in Applied Animal Bevhavioural Science and Welfare and she has been surrounded by animals all her life. She has a Patterdale Terrier called Finlay, a horse called Whisper and too many other animals to list here! Avril enjoys showjumping and playing Polocrosse and is a huge music fan. She is looking to continue her studies and hopes to become David Attenborough's protege researching new species.
