Consulting room
There are 2 consulting rooms at Bourne Veterinary Practice. They both have non slip examination tables, are fully computerised and are air-conditioned. The larger room has a separate door to the outside so pets can enter directly and avoid the waiting room if they are nervous, very poorly or infectious.
Some of the equipment you might see in the consulting rooms are:-
- Otoscope: Enables us to look into ears for signs of disease or foreign bodies.
- Opthalmascope: Enables us to check inside the eye for any damage or pathology.
- Stethoscope: For listening to your pets heart and lungs. We can hear abnormal rhythms or heart murmurs and lung pathology.
